Pork Chop Casserole

This mouth-tingling, delicious recipe comes from the Cherry family (my mom's mom). It's so easy, which I think adds tremendously to its appeal. Just make sure to follow the recipe exactly, it tastes funky if you stray from it. :)

[Ingredients]
Pork chops (however many you want)
1 cup uncooked rice
2 cans of beef consumme soup (with gelatin)
1/2 can water
1 carrot

Ignore the "T" on all food items. I still live with roomies.
[Directions]
1. Brown desired number of pork chops in bacon fat (yum!) or a buttered pan with salt & pepper.
2. In a casserole dish, combine soup, water and rice.
3. Lay browned chops ontop of rice mixture.
4. Grate carrot on top. (This is really important and you can't have too much carrot so grate away!)
5. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until rice is done.

Watch out for steam burns when removing foil and enjoy!

It's not much to look at but it will change your life.
I hope you enjoy it and look slightly less crazy than I do. :)
